I would like to check for babies who sleep thru the night.. how do your babies at 1yo sleep? Do they sleep in their own cot? My 1yo girl sleeps through the night since 2mo however we are co sleeping. Usually she may shift her body in the middle of the night which result in awakening then i will pat her back to sleep. Recently ive put her in her own bed however it seems like shes not able to self soothe to sleep on her own and will end up sitting up or standing up. So right now co sleeping definitely works for us..but how do i get her to fall back to sleep on her own???
I co sleep with both my kids since they were born. We had a cot, co sleeper, bassinet and nothing worked except for being in the middle of the bed. Skin to skin with either me or my husband.
baby sleeps with me. my 3 year old sleeps with us too. and we love it! my baby dream feeds pretty much the whole night.
My 2yo still co sleeps with me. I have a cot which the sides been remove so it can be joined with my bed. I will place him in his cot, if he happen to stir in the sleep, i will give pats to him to soothe him back to sleep. As i will be gg for my delivery soon, im getting my husband to soothe him insteadRead more

I co sleep with mine since he was 4 months old cause he hated his cot. before he turn 18 months old he will still wake up 2-3 times a night, and I am still breastfeeding so he will latch for a while and then back to sleep. after he turn 18 months old he will sttn til the next morn with occasion waking up and looking for me. I will either latch him, hug him, Pat him, whatever works that put him back to sleep.Read more
I co-sledp with LO since birth too, now 26 months old and still co-sleeping :) He refused baby cots and playpens, so we just co-sleep since it helps him feel more secured - there are times he wakes up to peek for me, and also times where he feels better just rolling to my side of the bed! I'd say there's no real need/rush to move them to their own beds - I wouldn't stop until the day that he tells me he wants to sleep alone :)Read more
- Hi mummies! I've been using a co-sleeper cot eversince my girl was born; she's 10 months old. She's been doing great sleeping in her cot, however in the middle of the night, she has a habit of sleep-crawling to my bed, and will crawl herself to sleep in between my husband and me in the middle of the night ?. Me and my husband are thinking of changing her co-sleep cot to a baby crib, which will make it hard for her to crawl to our bed, because we want to train her to sleep in her own cot (but still our room). Any tips on how to do this successfully? I'm worried she might cry & insist that we carry her to our bed.
- My baby is almost 6 months. And i feel that is too late to let my baby self soothe to sleep. She sleep well on her stomach since 3 months old. She didnt like sleeping on her back. But now she can turn herself, she woke up. And couldnt get back to sleep. How to make her sleep through the night again?
- Hi there, my 8 months old baby used to sleep on her own in the cot and will fall back to sleep with the pacifier in her mouth if she cries in the middle of the night but recently she rejects the pacifier continues to cry loudly and only stops after I carry her. She falls back to sleep almost immediately if i place her on my bed, but once I place her back to her cot she starts wailing and rejects her pacifier again. Any parents experience this before and what did you do?
