I finally organised all of baby's clothes in her dresser and then it hit me, should I have pre-washed them all before she's born?

Yes, you should wash baby's clothes, blankets, and other washable items that will come in contact with his or her skin. It's not necessary that you do it before she's born, but it is recommended that you do it before she wears them. The reason for this is that baby's brand new birthday suit hasn't toughened up yet. Her skin is sensitive and the finish that's put on new clothes to make them look cute enough for you to snatch up can irritate baby’s virgin skin.
Read moreYes you'll need to prewash them as they are manufactured in factories. Hence with baby's delicate skin, new clothings may cause your baby's skin to be irritated. Best to prewash ya? Otherwise soak in hot water and dry it, that may do the trick. Easiest way is to throw it into the washing machine with baby detergent.
Read moreYes, I washed my baby's clothes and sun them around 35 weeks into my pregnancy. The baby clothes should be washed before using baby detergent liquid/powder to reduce the allergic to baby's skin. I use pigeon liquid detergent, which can get easily from NTUC department store.
Yes, for me it's necessary. Even before, I prewash my newborn's clothes (new or second hand-given clothes, including beddings and towels) just to be sure that it's free from dirts and bacterias. And after washing, I also iron them.
Yes absolutely need to wash. You never know who touched them or where they landed before you brought it home. There will be germs. And when baby is just born they are way too sensitive and delicate. Please wash and sun dry.
I washed my baby's clothings when I was 36 weeks. Luckily I washed earlier as I gave birth at 37 weeks. After washing with baby detergent, I stored the washed clothes in a big ziplock bag n prepare for my baby's arrival.

Yes you should. I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I've started to prewash my baby's clothes. It's better to soak the clothes with water first then wash them with baby detergent liquid, I'm using tollyjoy's brand.
Yes pls wash them first. U don't know how long these clothes has been in storage and what has been on them. Wash it nearer to ur delivery and if u want, keep it well and covered after that
