how much would it cost to give birth in a government hospital in Malaysia as a Malaysian that is not a government servant? what is the price range for normal delivery
You can refer to website such as HKL website on the ward (depends on which ward classes you’re) & charges. It is actually delivery cost + daily treatment + miscellaneous like if baby need to be warded NICU for special treatment (if any). I safely delivered via emergency ceaser at HKL And have to stay for almost a 10days cus my baby got jaundice and they need to monitor until he is safe to be discharge. My overall bill was less than Rm350. And warded at 3rd class since all other class was full and other classes only available if there’s any vacant (march babies at HKL 📶)...
Baca lagiHi. First delivery I was charged 200+, Inc 4days stay. 2nd delivery only RM60+ Inc 2 days stay. So Im not sure why there is such different but that's the range. Mine is normal delivery for both.
