For freshly expressed breastmilk, since it has little bacteria in it, you can keep them at room temperature (25degrees) for a maximum of 6 hours. Alternatively, you can store it in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days or in the deep freezer for 6 to 12 months. It's best to label your breastmilk according to the date that it's been expressed and store it in an "first in, first out" manner - whereby the latest expressed milk are stored in the insides and the earlier ones out front where it's easily assible.
