How does your child behave when he meets a stranger?

i would say it will depend on your child's age, as the reaction is different during every phase. my elder one is very shy around strangers and completely refuses to speak, to the point of coming across as rude. on the other hand, the younger one, who is a toddler, has suddenly started getting very pally with strangers, even though she was earlier wary of them.

My child is 5-year-old and I am not able to predict her behaviour. Sometimes, when she meets a stranger she would say hi to a hi, and would talk, but there are times when she is shy and would try to hide behind me.

My 3 year old will stare blankly at the person and put his fingers in his mouth.

He shys away.
