how to deal with a toddler who is addicted to gadgets/tv ?

thanks for sharing ladies.. last time my boy is able to listen to instruction like yours, Ling.. now that he's older and getting stubborn, is so hard to distract or nego with him.. headache...

I usually give my boy his tab/TV for a period. After which I'll tell him it's the last one and then we have to switch it off. I get him to help by turning it off himself.

Be firm and cut down. Times up, switch it off. If he/she has a meltdown over this, do not give in. distract wth something else
