Help! We're having an ant infestation at our house. How do I get rid of this?

It will depend on how bad the infestation is, your goal is to clean as much as possible and get rid of their nest. If its not that bad, i usually use a mixture of baking soda and confectioners sugar and leave it along their trails, they bring it home and the baking soda kills them. The pesticide chalks work too but i avoid those in areas that kids can reach. If it's really bad you may have to ask an assessment from a pest control expert to get rid of them.

Is it a severe infestation? Pest control companies can help you get rid of the ants. To make sure this problem doesn't recur, proper food storage is key. Also remember to wipe down counters and vacuum or sweep floors. You can also purchase ant sprays from hardware stores but make sure they don't contain any harmful or noxious substances. Mix borax with sugar and soak them in cotton balls. It will do the trick. Sugar serves as the bait and borax will be the poisonous stuff. If you can't find Borax brand, any boric acid will do
