Do we have to wash the backflow protector of pump each time? Or just the flanges?

I would wash everything as there could be milk inside too

Any part that touches the milk in any way, needs to be washed.

Backflow protector still have to wash due to milk splash (no matter how little the splash can be).

I will wash every single time I use
