Can try: - rewards - making it into a fun activity My 3yo was the same too. We kept trying, and one day, it just clicked for her. Even bypassed pooping into the potty (which you can try if you want). My husband started off being very strict and scolding her when she refused, but somehow she was more willing later on when we were just very encouraging, we talked a lot about how fun pooping into the toilet bowl is (lol), we talked to her while she was pooping (so it seemed like a relaxing activity rather than a stressful one) and so on. Hope you find success soon!
Hey, I think having a fun & engaging conversation also helps. You can also provide some reading books during the potty time as it keeps them on the potty seat
5 yo, they can understand you. Wear diaper if he feel secure but constantly tell him to say out when he wants to pee or poop.
