We have been looking for a nanny for a very long time. My mom prefers someone recommended over those from an agency. But now that the urgency is there, I think I don't have a choice. Can you help me out with this and probably suggest where to find a good one?

There's a Facebook group if you're in search for household helpers. Look for Yaya & Kasambahay. It might help you. Although, personally I'd like to get the ones recommended by someone I knew. That way, I can have a sure background check about the prospective yaya
