Help! Which hospital and Gynae?

Hi congrats on your pregnancy! I personally chose kkh under private because i feel that even if theres any complications to your pregnancy, they will refer you there as they are afterall specialised in women and baby. Doesn’t matter if you choose to go to mount A or E / sgh / parkway / raffles / thomson etc you will still be referred to kkh if you have some sort of complications along the way in your pregnancy. I had such a pleasant experience at kkh from my check up up to my delivery date. All the best to u!

Consider also the convenience/ location of the gynae’s clinic and hospital to your home. I agree with the earlier post on kkh private service. I chose kkh because i at least have the option to downgrade and am at the best hospital for complications. But of course, even private service in kkh has longer queues / more patients than private hospitals / gynaes.

I will suggest you find a gynae first before deciding hospital. Some gynae only station at certain hospital. Gynae is very important, you must be comfortable with your gynae. I love Dr tham kok fun from gleneagles. He's super fatherly super concern will explain to you clearly details and every check up.

Suggest u consider the distance from ur place to the hospital. Personally I prefer private as I have heard the downside of KkH. I am seeing Dr Natalie chua in Parkway east

If you're going with private, the price is similar across the hospitals including KKH. go for maternity tours before you decide and check where your gynae goes to as well.
