Private gynae @ KKH

Hi, ill be changing to private gynae @ KKH for my next appt, 35 weeks. For labour/delivery, do we need to inform them when we’re making our way to hospital for delivery ? Or theyll be informed by hospital itself once we’re there. And also do we need to call the hospital/delivery suite before gg there or can just straight go there #FTM

Was wondering what’s the latest you can change to private? And are you going c sec or natural? Was a private doc hard to engage so late?

It depends on the gynae’s availability. The popular ones would probably already be fully booked. Mine when i enquired, shes still available from july onwards, so i booked her in advanced so i can start seeing her on my 35th week. Csec or normal i think depends on the baby’s condition, position, mummy’s condition i guess ? I believe mine i would try to go for natural cs im only 33weeks still too early to tell.

No need to call in advance. Just go straight to level 2 delivery suite.
