Pacifier

Try not to introduce pacifier as long as possible. Especially if u are breastfeeding baby. This will cause baby to suck pacifier for comfort and not suck breast instead to increase your supply.

I gave it to my 1st born but it was so difficult to get him to stop and I did not give it to my 2nd child. Not intending to give it to my coming one either

Yes my son was a preemie. So sucking of the pacifier was the way he learnt how to suck and swallow. He self weaned off the pacifier at 6months.

Try to avoid. My baby is addicted to it. He will cry whenever the pacifier fell off from his mouth during sleep

Yes we did but not for very long as then it becomes in habit and is difficult to stop

Yes i give, only at times to soothe him from crying and fussiness.

Yes. When my kids were 1 yr old they stopped using it too.
