Feeding water to baby

Hahahaha! I would just say, “Thank you for sharing your experience with me! I keep myself up to date with international paediatric guidelines, and they have studied babies over the past few decades and seen what happens when babies drink water too early, how dangerous it can be. So I will follow their recommendations to give water only after 6 months.”

Totally! And they'd be like "you grew up well" or "back in those days, bla bla bla". I forwarded them articles written by professionals about the reason behind not feeding water to babies under 6mths, i was told off for disrespecting them and not believing in their supposedly "vast experience"🙄

Hi it’s me the OP, Thanks for sharing the same sentiments! To add on, what makes me even roll my eyes further was they kept telling me to stop breastfeeding already, like BF one month is enough. Seriously feed water can but breastfeed cannot 😂

ikr. my mil and husbands gugu esp keep say, aiyo nowadays this cannot that cannot. when u young I also like that tc of you, u now not healthy and well meh? dun listen ltr anything happened u dun complain. hear until damn annoyed 🙄 but I just ignore

Ehhh.. At first I was same as you. Until I went to see pd due to my child down with fever when he was 3months-4months. Pd told me to feed my child water. Because I'm on formula milk. So sometimes I also don't know what it is.

Hey, Haha yes this happens. Our elders will always say that but I think you know what is best for your baby so just stand your ground on it
