Yes, the binder will help to reduce the pain. Try to walk more and ur wounds will heal faster. Initially the nurse forgot to put the binder for me, and every steps I took, it hurts. But it's slightly better with the binder. Of cos, dont bind it too tight.

I feel more pain with the binder on, so i didn't use it after my gynae say ok to take off, the stitches wasn't hold by the binder

Better to wait until your wound is healed sufficiently before you start wrapping your stomach.

You can start wearing the binder after a week or two once the pain subsides a bit.

I think it’s better to take painkiller first. Bind after 1 or 2 weeks later

Wait till the pain reduces before wearing one.
