Do I need to sterilize bottles and pacifiers after every single use?

For me, sterilizing is quite convenient for me since I am using a sterilizer. Thus, after every use I will sterilize them, even for my own breastpump parts. It is better to practice good hygiene while baby is young. When baby turns older (> 2 years old), I reduce the frequency of sterilizing e.g. once to twice per day only.

No. You must, however, sterilise the bottles, pacifiers, sippy cups and other feeding gear for the first time. After that, a good scrubbing with hot water should be able to keep these items clean. You can also soak all of these items in hot soapy water for 5-10 minutes before use to properly sanitise and clean them.

I won't say it's a need, but it's a good practice. I used to sterilise on a daily basis when I had my steriliser. Now that my boy is older, I have stepped into the bochap mode. Lol

thanks
