I am dying - Wife wants a baby to remember me by

Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Doctor gives me tops 1 year to live. We’ve been married for 7 years, no kids. My wife want to get pregnant so she has a child to remember me by when I am gone. I am not sure how I feel. Finances is not a problem for us. Should I say yes?

Hi there, I’m sorry to hear about your situation. I hope for the next 1 year (or longer, we hope), you’ll lead life as fulfilled as you can. As to your question, what are you concerned about to having a child? If you feel that you’re physically able right now to try for a child, why not? Have you shared how you feel with her yet?
