If my child has hand foot mouth disease once, can she catch it again?
Like what other 2 mummies have mentioned. There's no immunity to HFMD even for adults. Practice good hand hygiene, wash hands with soap or hand sanitisers. Eat healthy and boost your immune system with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Unfortunately yes. Although immunity is higher, not 100% immuned. I used to teach and i had kids in my class who got it more than once. Vit C builds up immunity so get ur child to eat more fruits and veg. đ
My PD once told me there are 7 strains of HFMD. From the weakest (only ulcers in the mouth) to the baddest (full blown all over body).
Yes will catch again my kids total have catch 3 time hfmd all my 3 kids lucky me never catch from them when I look after them
Unfortunately yes. There is many different types of HFMD, recovering from one does not protect you from other types of virus.
Sorry to say yes. There is still chances of getting it even adults. I got it before too
