Can we freeze our baby's solids in advance? Are there certain foods that we should not freeze and must be kept & given fresh?

Yes, of course we can freeze solids. My 6months old son is under my mum's care while I am at work, and because he is hyperactive plus my mum has a bad leg, I tend to prepare and freeze solids so it's easier for her to prepare his meals. You can keep frozen solids for long periods, although I only store enough for the week (I prep every Sunday night). You can freeze also any kind of fruits/vegetables. However for avocadoes & bananas, preparing then fresh would be best. Also, it's an important note not to refreeze anything that has been taken out to thaw. Yes you can prepare solids in advance and freeze them. As baby is not taking in a large amount of food yet, so freezing make it more economical and time savings. Most of the vegetables and fruits can be freezed. You can buy a tray/cubes to make the freezing and defrosting easier, e.g. Beaba Food Freezer Tray is recommended.

Yes, you may freeze solids in advance only bananas, avocados, rice and bread I would say not to freeze. Freezing food really helped to save time. But I personally won't recommend you freeze anything which going to have your baby.
