Can we freeze our baby's solids in advance? Are there certain foods that we should not freeze and must be kept & given fresh?

Yes, of course we can freeze solids. My 6months old son is under my mum's care while I am at work, and because he is hyperactive plus my mum has a bad leg, I tend to prepare and freeze solids so it's easier for her to prepare his meals. You can keep frozen solids for long periods, although I only store enough for the week (I prep every Sunday night). You can freeze also any kind of fruits/vegetables. However for avocadoes & bananas, preparing then fresh would be best. Also, it's an important note not to refreeze anything that has been taken out to thaw. You can check out the URL because on the methods to prepare frozen solids. http://wholesomebabyfood.momtastic.com/freezepage.htm
