AGREE OR DISAGREE: Breastmilk should NOT be sold.

I think ok lang naman since may mga mommies talagang nangangailangan rin ng breastmilk, or pera sa iba. Ang kailangan dapat is a way to regulate in order to ensure the quality of the breastmilk, and to make sure it doesn't promote "lack of effort" from some mommies. Like maybe sa bawat brgy health center or hospital ay merong milk bank para accessible. Pero at the same time, dapat para lang talaga sa mga emergency cases like NICU babies or whatever emergency cases ng mommies. More often than not kasi, proper breastfeeding education talaga ang kailangan ng isang inang walang breastmilk.

Agree... hindi dapat ito ibenta....Nabasa ko ito somewhere: The Food and Drug Administration says that there are a number of risks for consuming shared breast milk. These risks include “exposure to infectious diseases, including HIV, to chemical contaminants, such as some illegal drugs, and to a limited number of prescription drugs that might be in the human milk, if the donor has not been adequately screened. In addition, if human milk is not handled and stored properly, it could, like any type of milk, become contaminated and unsafe to drink.”

if humina yung milk ko I'll prefer formula milk over donated or bought breast milk. I just don't trust other people, they can lie and say they are healthy just so they can sell and earn money. I'm aware that there are moms with too much breast milk and others needing it. Pero kung di rin galing saken wag nalang. Kase from me I know it's safe and healthy. so I disagree. I never donated breast milk, not only pumping hurts you have to go thru a lot of trouble keeping it in the freezer. Donating is not for everyone, selling it? I can't imagine....

Disagree. some moms don't have enough breast milk and yun ang gusto nila ifeed sa babies nila rather than commercialized powdered milk. As long as the mom donating the milk is screened then I think it's fine to donate milk. If you're the mom with so much breast milk, you're lucky. But what if you don't have enough milk and your baby needs it? example premature babies. Would you prefer to feed your premature baby with powdered milk or breast milk?

50/50 dito.. pwede mag donate ang willing mag donate.. pero paano yung nanay na willing sana magbigay ng breastmilk pero kulang sa pambili ng breastmilk bags? at ang effort nila? ang pag storage sa freezer na gumagamit ng kuryente? kung naiisip ang risks.. kung iisipin yung possible risks naman . nasa nanay na yon kung titingnan pa niya background nung pagkukuhaan niya ng breastmilk..

I joined some Facebook groups for breastfeeding moms dahil ni recommend ng friend ko and to my surprise, most mommies there were selling their frozen milk 15 pesos an ounce. Note that these moms are not properly screened ha. We all know that breast milk is the best choice for babies, BUT there are always exceptions. May mga sakit po na pwedeng makuha ang baby sa pag inom ng breast milk so please beware.

Hindi sure kung malinis ba talaga yung breastmilk o may halo na water na. sumali ako sa online group ng mga breastfeeding moms and dun ako natuto. until now 11 mos na si LO may breastmilk ako. ang nakakainis lang sa group na un may bardagulan though may point naman kasi yung isang nagbebenta ng BM umiinom ng alak

depende yan sa mga mommies na nagdodonate , nagbebenta at bumibili. sila ang may concern nyan. kung need na need mo na ba eh iisipin mo pa kung binebenta yun or donate diba. kung ayaw mo naman bumili eh di hanap ka na lang ng magdodonate kung meron ka makikita agad. choice ng mga taong concern yan

50/50 Pwede ibenta if nag eeffort nmn ang mommy para mka pump ng milk and making sure na clean and sanitized yung area nya and self nya while pumping di biro mag pump ng milk. Disagree na ibenta if masyado nmn na mahal and ginagawa na talaga negosyo na di na nasisigurado ang cleanliness ng Bm

Ok lng naman cguro wag lng masyadong mahal.. hindi biro ang breastfeeding tska nakakagutom din..paano kung walang makain c mommy? kunting kasayahan lng yan ni mommy kumpara sa di biro na hirap..
