Massive bloating in the stomach and intestines

Both my stomach and intestines are filled with so much gas it hurts to get up or sit down?? My gynae gave me medication to help with the bloating but it hasn’t worked at all.... can someone please recommend me something to fix it because I cannot function like this :(
