Is it better to just a rent a breast pump? I'm afraid to waste $ if I buy one and then I don't bf successfully.

If you want to breastfeeding fully, don't get a pump yet. Latch on first. If you do not wish to buy a pump, you can consider to rent first. Once your breastfeeding is stabilized, you can buy a proper pump. After birth, latch as much as you can in the hosp at nurses are there to help you

You can buy a cheaper pump. No need to spend so much. I personally prefer a manual pump. Also depends are you a sahm or working mom. You may want to consider the hakka pump. It's good. I love it. Otherwise you can also hand express. I did hand expressing as well.

If you are renting at mt A.. i suggest no. They charge $50 per tm u use. So exp Invest in one, and bring to the ward.. mayb just use it to stimulate milk supply, can discard the milk later
