My baby boy is 16 month old but he is not speaking anything except maa.I am a working lady and hence unable to spend much time with him. Kindly, suggest me what to do to increase his vocabulary?

I suggest, whoever spends most of the time with baby must talk to him so that he becomes familiar with words that are spoken over and over again in front of him. This way he will soon pick up words. Initially, kids blabber but they soon start picking words on their own. Your son is just 16-month-old and when he has already started saying maa, means that he has no problem speaking words, just that he is taking his own time. So, do not worry too much and talk to him and show him things when you are addressing to a thing so that he understands what you are referring to. Like if you pick up a doll, then hold the doll and say it showing him. Soon, he will understand that this particular thing is called doll and when he would want it, he will speak it too.
