Are there times na talagang baliktad na ang tulog ng mga anak nyo? Tulog ng daytime tapos sa magdamag gising?

Oo! Nung baby mga anak ko at sometimes nung toddler na rin. It's not uncommon for babies and toddlers to switch sleep times, because they're still adjusting to the routine. And that's what's important: setting a sleep routine. Bago matulog si baby, dapat pang-sleep time na ang "mood" sa kuwarto, for example naka off na ang ilaw, dim lamp na lang ang naka-on, naka off na ang TV rin or make sure hindi masyadong maingay. You can do regular nighttime activities, like reading a book or singing lullabies. Kailangan lang naman masanay sa isang routine si baby at sa gabi, kapag simulan mo na ang routine, maa-associate niya yun with sleep. It gives them a sense of comfort and security when they know what's going on. With my daughter, I say the steps out loud: "Okay, mahal, it's time to sleep na. Now we brush our teeth, then we change into pajamas, then we lie down, then we turn on the night light, then we close our eyes, and then we sleep!" And nasanay siya sa akin na paulit-ulit kong sinasabi yon na she recites the steps with me also. And no fail, after we recite the steps and get settled in sa kama, matutulog na siya (at siempre kailangan kayakap pa si mommy!).
