For take off and landing, give them something to chew or suck on to relieve the pressure in their ears so they don't feel so uncomfortable. A lot of parents turn to gadgets to distract their children for a few hours. Prepare lots of activities so they don't get bored. A few books, games, paper and pencils or activity kits provided by the airline would be sufficient. Dress the children in comfortable clothing and get neck pillows for them so they can nap. If there are enough empty seats, they might be able to lie down across a row of seats to nap. http://www.skyscanner.net/news/flying-children-20-top-tips-keeping-kids-happy-board

You can choose night flight so that your kids sleep schedule will not be disturbed during the flight. Parents can have a better rest during the flight too. In addition, you can bring some books, activities/colouring books and board games to entertain your kids during the flight.

My best tip to you would be to get the first class pillow (the one that blows up in the footwell so child can stretch legs out straight and sleep better). The U.S. equivalent is fly-tot pillow

i travel with my daughter with lots of activity stuffs. like colouring, some small toys, snacks, playdoh and last resort is video/games on hp.

thanks
