Baby

Is it normal?

My 5mo boy gets agitated easily. Carry him, put him down, sit him, play with him, give him toys to play on his own, screen time, tummy time and just anything at all but he can only last for 5mins and will start being cranky even after feeding him, burping, essential oil, change diapers and trying to put him to sleep. He’s always biting his hand tho. Is this a sign of teething? Is it usually like this when teething happens? And is it normal for 5mo? He used to be a very good and quiet boy

Actually it’s perfectly normal. He needs a lot of interaction and attention at this age. He might demand for even more attention soon, when his motor skills improve. As for hand sucking/biting, yes it could definitely be related to teething discomfort. You can try giving teethers to help. My 8mo wants a lot of attention too, and has separation anxiety.
