Mummy of a lovely little angel
Returning to work soon..
Hi Mummies.. I am returning to work in a weeks time after 6 months extended maternity leave.. Have been feeling very low and upset.. I have been taking care of my lo on my own and a helper has just arrived to take care of her while I will be at work.. She is doing a good job so far but you know still that little anxiety and fear sets in each time I think of my absence.. Looks like I will have more seperation anxiety than my baby ;( How did you all overcome this feeling?
Feeding aversion???
Hi mummies! Please help.. I started my 6 months old on solids after getting the green light from PD and she is also able to sit up unassisted and looked ready. The first 2 weeks she was okay took a few spoons and drank abit of water. But now she is on a feeding aversion. Completely rejecting solids , water or any form of feeding. Even ebm with bottle feeding is rejected. She drinks well when I latch her. I am returning to work in 2 weeks time and she has to eat and be bottle fed by the helper. Her PD is so concerned about her weight as it has remained the same since 4 months and wants me to give her more solids. Hitting milestones well and diaper output is good but no weight gain at all. I am extremely worried and upset.. I tried making meal times as fun as possible, let her play with the food etc but all fails and she just cries murder. She only wants to be breastfed and nothing else. Anyone experienced this? Please share what you did.. Many thanks!
Baby
Hi mummies.. Isit normal for babies to go with pooping for 2-3 days after starting solids? My baby is on full breastmilk and was pooping everday. But I just started giving pureed fruits and veg this 2 weeks and now she has not pooped for 3 days.. Isit normal and what Can I do?
Starting solids..
Hi mummies! I just started my baby on solids this week. Started off with pureed vegetables.. Gave her pureed spinach and it all came out in her poop.. Isit normal for the food to be out in their poop? Am I giving too much or isit okay?
Baby skin
Hi mummies!! Anyone experienced this kind of rash on your lo? The one on the chest has been there for months.. I have tried so many moisturizers and also seen polyclinic DR. DR said nothing to worry about and just moisturize but it seemed to be getting bigger and red.. Feel so upset.. Anyone has any good moisturizer to recommend?
Sitting baby on highchair
Hi mummies.. My lo is turning 5 months soon. Able to hold her head up and flip over. Now she is just in that phase of trying to sit up.. I am only intending to start her on solids at 6 months if she is ready.. However I am just wondering can i make her sit up on a highchair now? Will it hurt her back or cause any issue? Just want to let her join the family in the dining table to get some exposure to the food and family mealtime.. ?

Breastfeeding
Hi mummies! My 4 months old lo suddenly has a preference over one side when I DL her. She cries murder whenever I attempt to feed her at the other side. Have tried changing positions but it just make her more frustrated the moment I try to latch her on. Anyone experienced this with your lo? Pls share what you did. Thanks in advance?
Hi Mummies! my lo is 4 months old and is only 4.8kg now. During her 3 month check up DR said she was in the 3% percentile. She isnt gaining weight and its very worrying for me. I DL through the night and also bottle feed day time. she drinks about 90-120mls every 3 hours. Besides that good diaper output and she is hitting milestones. Should I be worrying about the weight or isit okay? Please advice. Thanks in advance!
Hi mummies. Do you take any multivitamins or calcium supplements while breastfeeding? Can share what brand you taking?
