Sitting baby on highchair

Hi mummies.. My lo is turning 5 months soon. Able to hold her head up and flip over. Now she is just in that phase of trying to sit up.. I am only intending to start her on solids at 6 months if she is ready.. However I am just wondering can i make her sit up on a highchair now? Will it hurt her back or cause any issue? Just want to let her join the family in the dining table to get some exposure to the food and family mealtime.. ?

Doesn’t hurt:) I started training my LO at 4m+ actually, since her neck control was very good. I put her in the high chair, hut my chair also has a 5-point seatbelt, so it was very good and keeping her secure and upright (occasionally needed to prop her up a little). By the time I started her on solids, she was already much more comfortable and used to sitting in the chair:)

I previously had checked with pd, it will not hurt your baby as long as your LO is having all the nutrition that she has. As my LO attempts to stand up all the time, so I previously checked if standing up will cause her any issue. Pd assures me that as long as they are not born prematurely or anything, they are fine
