My LO is 3 months old now! Other than eat and sleep, he has his wake periods, which is around 30 to 90 minutes depending on the time of the day. During this wake period, what do you mummies do with your LO to occupy the time after feeding or before feeding? For now, after waking up, if LO is not hungry yet, I do about 10 minutes of tummy time with him (or more until he is frustrated or hungry). After feeding, I sit him upright (or carry him upright) for about 15 minutes, and then I dont know what to do already. For now, I put him on a lying chair and talk/chat to him until he is sleepy. If he isn't interested in me talking anymore, I use those shaker toys to entertain him for a few more minutes. I have some toys given to me but they aren't suitable for him yet (Stackers, teethers etc). Then when I absolutely have nothing to chat about or play with baby, then I put him to sleep. But then other than that what do you mummies do with your LO? #firsttimemom #firstmom

Hey mummies, my 3month old LO is starting to sleep through the night and he poops a lot as soon as he wakes. Any recommendations for diapers which absorbs very quickly for runny poop and also can store a lot of pee at the same time? I tried drypers and even for fresh diaper, b4 it can absorb the poop already flow out from back. Goonz absorbs really fast but not enough to last with through the night pee + poop. Tried rascal and friends but consistently leak from the thigh area even when its fresh diaper. Currently I am using merries, and it's the best, but baby diaper seems to be like it's exploding after just 6 hours of use + poop. Baby is sleeping longer and longer, so I'm wondering if there are other options? Thanks!

Just for interest. What weird habits or practices do you mummies suddenly develop after having a baby/child? Something you used to not do, but now do due to baby/child? Or perhaps something you used to do but now don't. For me, I start sleeping with my glasses on and my hair tied so I don't have to put them on to check on my baby. Also started wearing clothing that can go bra-less even when going out so it's easy to feed my baby if needed. What do you mummies do/not do after having a child?

Any mummies still having painful letdowns more than 2 months after birth? Everytime I will experience nausea (feel like vomiting) then top of my breast will hurt and then milk will spray out. I heard it's normal to feel pain during letdown starting of breast feeding journey, but it's been two months and still the same. Though the pain is not a big deal but it's a nuisance. Any idea if there's something wrong?

Hey mummies, if in the middle of the night, you fed baby, changed its diaper, and put it to bed and it poops again right after (assuming around 10 minutes after sleeping you heard the sound of poop), would you bring it to change immediately or wait til it wakes up for next feeding (assuming in 3 hours time)? Now let's assume that you bring it to change immediately, and this happens again (poops again after you put it to sleep after 10 mins) would you bring it to change again? Do you have a magic number of times where you would just leave it to sleep with its poop until it wakes again? (For example, keep changing until left 1 hour til next feeding then let baby sleep until next feeding) For the above, assume that you have waited until you *think* baby has done pooping to change diaper, and yet it poops again.

34 weeks now. Stomach always feel bloated. Feel like burping all the time. Alot of times when I burp, my food or gastric juices will come out at the same time. It always burns my throat and I feel terrible. It sometimes cause me to vomit due to the pain. Taking famotidine but this still happens. 😭😭😭Can't eat much food nowadays. I see other mummies eat all the delicious food but I can't, makes me feel sad.

In addition to not being able to sit, stand or lay down properly without pains, even nausea is back. 😭 Diclectin does not help much other than make me sleepy. Any triggers like bad smell will trigger vomitting. Even my baby moving or kicking will trigger my gag reflex (and my baby is so strong and extremely active!!!). I throw up like nearly every night now, and gag so very often. And I thought 1st trimester was terrible...😖 How do you mummies cope with these 3rd trimester issues? 😢

Since last month, my pubic area near my left thigh joint has started to hurt, and now it hurts quite badly whenever I try to stand up or squat. I told the doctor and he says it's normal, can't remember the reason but something about my pelvis is small and need to expand. Any other mummys got this? How do you cope with this? Hey gals, just wondering, what are the tasks which I can ask the confinement nanny to do? For example, can I ask them to cook for my husband and guests (if there are guests in my house) other than myself? Can I ask them to do housework like vacuuming the floor, or washing the toilet or changing mattress sheets or doing laundry? Can I ask them to do grocery shopping? Also what would be their usual baby care schedule like? How much time will be taking care of mum and baby? And how much time will they have left to do other things? Sleep schedule? I read online and by other mothers that at this point it only feels like flutters and gas bubbles, and will feel like real kicks after 26 weeks. Is it normal for my baby to be very active, kicking and moving very strongly at this point (22 weeks) already? My husband can see those very obvious little jabs on my tummy already at 20 weeks and now at 22 weeks my random baby's kicks on my bladder hurts a little and makes me v nauseous. #firstbaby #firsttimemom #FTM
