Pulling/grabbing/hitting
9 months baby keeps pulling out ears, face, nose, skin… sometimes hitting very hard too. It’s so painful! Is this a developmental phase that will pass? Or something we need to “teach”? How to teach? No matter how I tell baby to use gentle hands, he keeps doing the same. It’s so frustrating!
PPHS rental
Hi mummies, anyone here staying in pphs rental ? Where did you choose and how far is it from your work/your baby’s ifc. And how long have you stayed ? I meed encouragement. Im currently staying bedok, baby’s ifc in bedok, me & husb work at bedok but due to limited choice, one of the ok location is hougang. However its still far from our work/comfort place. Bto also will be in bedok. But due to desperate about moving out of in laws house, i guess just have to ride thru the difficulties just for a better mental health and personal space ?
will my kid grow tall?
Is it true that if both parents are tall, our child will also grow tall? Until now, compared to children of the same age, they do appear taller although not significantly.
approaching first birthday, still cant stand
Mom... I'm really worried. My child is almost 1 year old (11 months) and still can't stand up... can sometimes stand with support, but still falls often. Not to mention standing, even when supported, they cry and just want to sit down. It's like they're scared. Why is that, mom... I want to take them to a pediatrician, but last time I went, I was scolded for supposedly not providing enough stimulation and not caring for my child. It's exhausting to be judged constantly. has anyone experienced the same?
signs of congenital heart disease
Mom, I'm really worried. I've noticed that my baby seems to be struggling to breathe at times. They also seem lethargic... and their lips look a bit bluish. There's a family history of congenital heart disease, but I don't have it. Could it have been passed on to my baby?
What kind of doctor do you prefer for your baby and yourself?
baby can't sleep soundly
Mom, I want to ask... why is it that my baby (4 months) has such a hard time sleeping? It seems like he never sleeps for more than 1 hour... like he never sleeps soundly. He also always wakes up because of little noises. I'm worried if this is what's causing him to have trouble gaining weight? Has anyone had a similar experience?
will my baby walk soon?
Mom, my baby (7.5 months old) has started standing up and pulling objects to stand. I was really surprised because I didn't expect him to do that at his age. In fact, a few times I've seen him able to walk while holding onto my/ his father's hand. Will my baby be walking soon? I'm worried if this is too early or normal? Has anyone experienced this?

my kid has speech delay because of me
Mom... my husband and I feel really guilty. We have one child. Both of us work... ever since our child was born, we've had help from a babysitter. When we're at work, we leave our child at my parents' house, but still with the babysitter. Often, we're too tired when we get home from work, so we don't have time to play with our child. We rarely talk to him. Sometimes, even on weekends, we have events. We do take him with us, but we realized... after thinking about it, even though we take him along, we rarely engage in conversations or interactions with him. We got too comfortable with the convenience... having a babysitter, someone to take care of our child. We rarely talked to him. The result? Our child has a speech delay. The therapist said one of the factors is the lack of stimulation for talking. We regret it so much. Why did we get so caught up in work? Why did we give in to exhaustion and convenience? We used to think it was pointless to talk to a baby since they don't understand yet. But that's not true. They will understand more if we talk to them more often... Child, forgive us for being negligent as parents...
