Private hospitals hidden/extra charges not reflected in the maternity packages?
I’m a foreigner, so I’m rather unfamiliar with how maternity care works in SG. I’ve asked some of the private hospitals (TMC/MAH/MNH) for their maternity packages and I noticed that they don’t seem to differ much - maybe ~1K difference but there are things the cheaper ones don’t cover (e.g newborn vaccines & tests). So I’m having a hard time understanding why a lot of people mentioned that MNH is the most expensive of all, when looking at comparisons online, it seems like doctors’ fees are the biggest deciding factor. Are there any additional things not mentioned in the maternity package that I should know? #advicepls #privatehospital
