My mom & MIL super against me have Anything / furniture move in the hiusehold during pregnancy.

Anyone here know what’s the superstition reasons behind this? And do you guys also not move anything to prepare for the nursery room?

Some ppl believe that there’s a deity in the house that protects the baby. Moving may cause disruption. What was the reason given by them?

Feedback on Dr. Kazila Bhutia and Dr, Ada Ang from KKH.

Dear Mummies, I am confused whether to go to NUH or KKH. Currently going or checkups under subsidy in KKH. Liked KKH consultation, timing and facilities. Do anyone have experience with the doctors Dr. Kazila Bhutia or Dr. Ada Ng from KKH? I had mild rectocele and GDM for the first pregnancy. Any other suggestions for doctors in NUH or KKH for my case. I prefer to choose an experienced consultant to a busy senior consultant. Please help :)

Dr Ada Ng is an amazing doctor and i love her very much. she’s very patient and caring, respectful of your choices

Colostrum to bring to KKH

Hihi, ftm here, giving birth in probably 1-2 weeks time. I have already started collecting colostrum in 1ml syringes.. May I know how many of these syringe I should bring to KKH? Or it is ok for me to leave them at home and give baby when we go back home. Thank you! #newmom #colostrum

Nosebleed during pregnancy

Hi moms, I have few times nose bleeding during my second pregnancy. I didn’t experience this on my first pregnancy’s. Is it okay or something I have to worried ?

hospitalization leave

Hi mummies, I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant, and have gotten the green light from my doctor. She has granted me HL since I was 36 weeks pregnant, however, my employer has been asking me to go back to work despite showing my HL letter. May I ask if I am obligated to work in office despite having HL? Is it wrong to ask an employee to work despite having HL and assume it’s wfh. #firsttimemom

I got an HL from 35 weeks and per MOM it’s your entitlement. Your company can’t force you to work

Should I pack milk bottle(s) and formula milk in my bag? I intend to BF, but not sure if milk supply will come in so soon

No need, hospital have those disposable one time use not for sale formulas, but it’s chargeable. They have different brands to choose from (mostly seen if I remember correctly is Nan, similac) But you do you, up to your comfort and personal preference 😊.

Became light sleeper 3rd trimester

Hi all I’m currently 35w. Used to be a deep sleeper and can sleep for long hours but recently as I’m getting more and more pregnant, noticed that I’m unable to sleep for long 😅 And I tend to wake up easier too. Slight noises and movements will wake me up. Compared to last time I’m almost dead asleep kind. Is anyone the same like me? Just wondering.

You will turn into no-sleeper once entering the fourth trimester 🥹

Good morning mummies…. Wanted to ask if yall developed any form of rashes on your body? After my doctor appt last week (week36), I started developing rashes under my armpits and it has been spread throughout my entire pit… tried using nappy rash cream and it doesn’t seems to help #firsttimemom #pregnant #FTM #plsadvice

Hi there, I developed PUPPP rash since I was week 29 and it’s the worst thing ever. It’s hive-like rash that started at my belly and spread to my chest and back, and is the most itchy thing ever! I tried so many different creams and remedies but nothing really works. Doc says it doesn’t harm me or baby and will go away after delivery. I’m in week 37 now and true enough it’s finally subsiding slowly.. hang in there! Calamine lotion helped me somewhat with the itch.. otherwise I take antihistamines to cope, especially at night.

I'm a KKH subsidized patient. Can I choose ward class B1(4 bed)? And when do we need to book? #ftm

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and my husband and I are discussing which ward I wanted. I'm a subsidized patient at KKH and I want B1 (4 bedder ward). Is it possible? Also when do we need to book? Or book when admitted? Please advise. First time mom here 🤗

They won’t allow u to book the bed.. it will only be done on the admission day itself subjected to availability..
