Just Mums

choking or just lost of voice ?

Just wondering if any mummies experience this : my baby who is 7 weeks old was crying normally before I started feeding him. Halfway through the feed he suddenly lost his voice when I was trying to burp him (he has been spitting milk frequently).. I've been monitoring him for the last half an hour but other than raspy voice he seems fine and fell back asleep. Was wondering is it a big cause for concern ? Should I bring him to a&e ?

Ha

You can bring him to PD to check but doesn't seem like an emergency situation if baby still acts normal and happy. Choking happens very fast and baby wouldn't even be able to breathe if he's choking
