First trimester for sure. Apart from the horrible morning sickness where I felt nauseous whole day long, I lost all my appetite where even favourite foods didn't make me feel like eating (Who says no to pizza?!). More than that, it was difficult to bond with the baby in the first trimester for me because most miscarriages occur in the first trimester. I didn't want to bond too much with the baby only to have something happen. Therefore, I didn't connect with my baby and referred to the fetus as "it" until I saw my baby again during the week 12 scan when it was near to the end of the first trimester.
