Genetic testing

FTS/oscar has to be done in first trimester whereas NIPT can be done slightly later. At public hospital the test will need 2 weeks and still need to wait for the doc appt which will at least be 4 weeks. Private around 2 weeks will know the results.

I did NIPT at 11 weeks, Dr said results will take 3 weeks, but it came out around 2 weeks. I had the option of receiving it via email, so I do not need to wait on my toes for the next gynae appt which was 4 weeks later.

I had NIPT test. Clinic did advise that it can take up to 3 weeks for the result to come but my result came in less than 2 weeks and doctor emailed us the results. So no need for wait for next appointment
