It's really really tiring bringing an infant for a trip. The items to pack for, all the planning! I would suggest that you go somewhere nearer and familiar to get the hang of "traveling with baby". Even if its just JB, its fine. Get the experience first. Because once you are seasoned with it, any place would have been child friendly anyway. Personally been to BKK, Batam, Bali, JB and road trip to Seremban(near Port Dickson) to visit relatives. Batam is pretty easy for starters, and you can get diapers, wipes or fm easily. Plus, the adults can find time for a massage or seafood, maybe some shopping. Take Horizon Ferry to the newer Harbourbay Terminal in Batam(lesser ppl; faster clearance and nearer to Nagoya). If you have a big budget, try Montigo. BKK not stroller friendly and very hot, i went anyway only because i really loved Thailand. Bali even more not stroller friendly. But because its a beach/resort place, my son loved swimming in pool etc. I'll be heading Macau next, since every casino has some foc entertainment/shows and i can just push stroller easily around the cluster casino malls. And i could easily take casino shuttle bus to city area and visit some tourist spot. Plus, it's going to be cooling weather. Enjoyed macau on my own few years back, returning with my baby this time :) Travelled to taiwan few times, i feel it's a child friendly place. But i feel with an infant, the places to go might be quite limited. Hongkong definitely not child friendly, they are rude ppl and they stare much. And its stairs everywhere. It's difficult to even find a public restroom in Mongkok(other than in Langham), much less to say a nursing room or diaper change?! Don't attempt!

Off the top of my mind, regionally, I reckon Australia, New Zealand, some states in Malaysia (Langkawi, Malacca) and Japan are pretty child-friendly. Hong Kong is also child-friendly but the bustling city might not be too conducive for young babies at 6 months. If you are willing to travel to Europe, cities like Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm are extremely child-friendly.

I say somewhere with fresh air, less rain N good roads for a stroller. So the last part cuts off Seoul, Bangkok or hongkong. Radiation and pollution cuts off Japan and Jakarta. Also somewhere less than 4 hours away and that I can take a commercial airline to. So I would suggest Taiwan or Perth

I wouldn't bring my lo that young for a trip. it's way too troublesome. I won't be able to cope. it's so tiring, instead of having I holiday. I'll be totally stressed out. but my sister is the opposite, she has 3 kids and she goes to Bali at least twice a year.

Australia is very baby friendly. However, if your lo is drinking dumex you got to bring from SG cause Australia supermarkets don't carry Dumex. Taiwan is also not bad too.

Japan, taiwan are great places with lots of child friendly locations
