Which is better, a co-ed or exclusive school for those entering grade 1?

I went to a coed from grade school to high school and exclusive school in college. As far as im concerned, there is no significant matter that can be a cause for concern. Maybe it was beneficial for me to have mingled with the opposite sex at an early age for the purpose of balance and socialization. However, back in college, being in an all girls school, it gave me an opportunity to reach out to more friends beyond the walls of our school. Plus, it was a chance to be more creative and to improvise when boys were needed in school/class activities.
