When my boy plays and I play with him, I sort of get bored after a while, which sounds horrible, I know. The more he grows up the more fun it is to play with him, but he's still really little right now. He walks, throws balls, and babbles. Any tips on activities (other than playing with toys in the living room) I could do that aren't too crazy for him, but engaging, entertaining and educational for both of us?

My husband signed up for a gym class for kids when our son was 8 months old (the classes take kids as little as 4 months). They both absolutely loved it! Lots of crawling over things, somersaults, swinging, singing etc. It also gave our son more confidence in his physical activities, and was a great bonding exercise for both of them.

When my kid was young, I let my baby joined music class such as kindermusik. Normally we just switch on the CD music and dance/sing what we learned in class. When my kid grows older, I do science experiments, painting, bakings, and reading books with him/her. Mostly guided by his/her own interests.

I am guessing he is around 1 year plus cos I also run out of ideas for my 1 year old! I get my ideas from Pinterest. Most of the activities there require some kind of preparation so I guess we parents have to be more hardworking. lol!

You can search on google about hands activities class.. So the boys can both of learning and playing in one activity.. Make more fun with song and music too.. 🥰

My hubby loves playing Duplo with my son. Maybe you can try that?

thanks
