It’s the smallest things.. saying please and thank you. Saying “I love you”. Acknowledging what the other person does (whether staying at home to take care of the kids or going out to work). Not thinking of oneself as the victim or superior to the other person. Fancy gifts and gestures are nice, but they don’t keep the fire burning for long. Sincere love and mutual respect do. And of course, faithfulness.

not taking each other for granted and always protecting one another. and learning to love better. lots of respect too.
