What did you see as a child that affected your life?

Observing my extended family gossip, shun, judge and back bite other people during holiday gatherings definitely turned me off going for such gatherings now that I'm older. They claim to be soooo religious and righteous yet their words can be quite toxic. I really can't stand them

child sexual abuse...changed me as a person forever in a good and a bad way... it made me more of an introvert and still do not trust strangers, but it made me smarter as a mom

The constant fights between my parents had impacted me a lot, it still haunts me. I had promised myself that I will never let my kids suffer this trauma.

Constant bickering and fighting between my parents which led to their divorce. I try to be as conscious of arguing with my husband in front of the kids.
