I recommend the Boppy Pillow! It's soft, but not too soft that your baby would sink in all its comfy softness (although, that does sound pretty good for a sleepless mum, haha). And it's versatile in the sense that you can place it front of you for some chest to chest nursing, or on your side if you prefer a football hold kind of position (extremely helpful for big chested mums). My Brest Friend nursing pillows are awesome! You strap them around your waist and good to go. You can rest your elbows when you are feeding and your back is supported by the all round design of the pillow. Babies can nurse comfortably because of the flat, firm surface and I love the pouches at the side to store small things like bottles and toys.
