What is the best advice your mother ever gave you?

My mom always says this, "You need to love yourself first before you can love anyone else". I live by these words everyday and it has helped me through alot of dark days in the past :)

"Treat others like how you would want to be treated" Helps guide my interaction with anyone I meet.
