What is the best advice your mother gave you?

It may sound weird but my mother never advised me anything. I grew up to knowing all those basic things; as to respect your elders or be kind to people and be grateful for everything was always the thing that I felt I was born with. Her teaching was so natural that I felt that I was born with it, and I think that is the magic that mothers do.

first she told me to be patience towards inlaws.what ever they say ,first listen and then speak.and towards husband also be patience and towards children also she gave me good advices like teaching them moral values,good habits.she always used to strees abt one thing ,that children learn frm there parents itself.so be good do good me

My mom's advice -- Always respect elders and value their perspective on life but make your own decisions.
