Sharing my birth story
October 22, morning, I visited my OB for my last check up since she already scheduled me for CS on October 30.
October 22, around 9pm, biglang nakaramdam ako ng pain. I thought it was just the normal Braxton Hicks and normal contractions but I was wrong kasi tuloy tuloy yung sakit.
October 23, 6am, tinawagan ni hubby yung OB ko abd sabi niya dalhin na ako sa hospital para macheck ako.
October 23, 8am, I was admitted but upon checking close pa cervix ko, sabi nung nurse sobrang taas pa ni baby. Hanggang umabot ng 2pm lalong lumala yung pain, I am crying and punching my hubby's face kasi nga masakit na. Then around 4:12 in-IE ako and the nurse said 1cm palang. They ask me to take a nap habang wala pa yung OB ko. Kaso di ko kayang matulog kasi nga masakit na masakit na. Then 8:25pm came, I told my husband that my water broke, nataranta yung mga nurses and the attending physician, kasi nga I can't do normal birth because of my asthma and heart problem, but that time my OB wasn't there, may ibang pasyente pa daw siyang siniCS.
In-IE ulit ako for the 3rd time and lalong nataranta yung mga nurse kasi ulo na ni baby yung nahawakan nila, they ask me to take a deep breath kasi baka sumumpong asthma ko.
The nurses immediately rush me to the delivery room and called different OB, they are asking me to breath normally but I can't, sumisikip dibdib ko pero nilakasan ko yung loob ko, sabi kasi nung isang nurse "Sige ka ma'am di mo makikitang lumaki si baby" I just closed my eyes and asked god na siya na bahala. Then at exactly 8:29 dumating yung isang OB, pinastart na akong ipush si baby, since di na pwede ang CS kasi nga labas na ulo ni baby, I pushed 5 times if I counted it correctly then ayun BIGLANG LABAS NI BABY. Lahat ng pain sulit. I'm so blessed kasi God helped me all the way. Kala namin di kaya ang normal birth pero yakang yaka pala.

He has cleft lip. Luckily yun lang and hindi cleft palate. We're planning to have his operation once he reach 5 or 6 months, yun daw kasi yung advisable sabi ng pedia niya. But still he is the greatest blessing ever.
UPDATE: Para po sa mga nagtatanong kung bakit nagkacelft lip si baby ko, hindi po namin agad nalaman na buntis ako. Irregular po kasi yung mens ko. Nalaman nalang po namin n pregnant ako nung 7 weeks na yung tummy ko. That time po I am taking vitamins which is LIN CHI kaya ayan po di nadevelope ng maayos yung lips ni baby ko.
PS. Wala po sa lahi namin ang pagiging cleft
