Tucking kids in to bed - do mummies and daddies do this together or take turns? Is there anything else besides telling a bedtime story that would work for this special time together?

I nurse my baby to sleep so it's a little unfair that daddy doesn't get to do it as he very much wants to. I hope to break the habit, every night we try to get a little closer to this goal by limiting her nursing time and let daddy coax her to sleep. When she gets older, it will be ideal if both of us can tuck her to sleep together. I can foresee if one party tucks her in, the other would be out clearing the laundry and trashcan. If you like it you could probably give your child a bedtime massage to help him/her wind down. My plan is to read the bible and do quiet time together, say a prayer of thanksgiving and maybe some cuddling before bedtime.
