Tucking kids in to bed - do mummies and daddies do this together or take turns? Is there anything else besides telling a bedtime story that would work for this special time together?

Ideally, if Mummy and Daddy can do it together, I am sure the kid would be delighted. But in my case, as my hubby works late, I tend to be the one who does the whole bedtime routine. With that said, he does do the bedtime routine whenever he is home early. We actually sing (Ha! No, I am pretty awful a singer but my kid seems to enjoy it, judging from his smiles) and then, it is a bedtime story. If your kids are older, I suggest some reflective time where both parents and kids can share on what they are grateful for, for that day. Whatever their ages maybe, a cuddle, hug and lots of kisses work great too :)
