Is there anyone here who works in a hospital and processes birth certificates of babies? Long post but please be patient because you might help meeee 😭 Hi! I just want to share my story and ask a question afterwards. Pls help me if there's anyone of you who has the same experience as me. Ganito po kasi yun, hindi pa po kami kasal ng boyfriend ko. He's a foreigner by the way and original plan po kasi namin ay sa US na kami magpapakasal if maprocess namin agad yung fiancee visa ko. Same plan po sana kahit na nalaman naming buntis ako, para na rin dun ako manganak. Then, the pandemic happened. Nagulo lahat ng pinlano namin. Then I heard that this August, magbubukas na yung Ph para sa mga foreigners. He booked a trip august 10 because gusto nya na nandito sya for the birth of his son. However, the airline cancelled since he just had tourist visa(which is not applicable even as of the moment). Sobrang lungkot ko nun maghapon ata akong umiyak 😭 So yun, nag usap kami ng masinsinan para magkaroon padin ng concrete na plan. So we decided that he would just find a job there to continue supporting me throughout my pregnancy. Para na din hindi sayang yung oras nya ng kakahintay kung kailan sya pwede umuwi dito. Since unemployed na rin ako, he sends me money for my checkups and daily expenses. Then one thing that starts bothering me is when I give birth in September. He wont be around by that time. I started thinking about what's going to happen kapag ipinrocess na yung birth certificate ni baby. Hindi kami kasal ng daddy nya so kailangan nyang pumirma sa birth certificate as a confirmation na sya yung daddy ng anak ko. The problem is, nasa US nga sya. Suggestion ng OB ko is to send a template of the birth certificate. Meaning ipadala/iship thru couriers. Which we all now, it might take a while bago pa nya mareceive yun. I asked if pwedeng iscan nalang yung template and i-Email sa kanya para pirmahan nya and isend nalang ulit sa email ko. Then sabi ni OB, baka hindi daw pwede yun. Huhuhu My question is: Hindi po ba talaga pwedeng maging alternative yun, as a consideration na rin na pandemic ngayon and complicated yung situation?
