i don't think brown stool is an indication of a liver problem, in fact stool can definitely be brown. unless your child is vomiting after eating, or has any other health issue, i do not think it is related to a liver condition. take a look: https://www.verywell.com/healthy-and-unhealthy-stool-89211 http://www.webmd.com/women/features/digestive-problems#1 at 7 years of age, he needs to start eating properly. you can involve him in the food making process by asking him to create a meal plan with you, for foods that he likes to eat. ask him about vegetables and fruits he loves and start making recipes together. try making different recipes using the same ingredients, and make it more like a fun activity. involve him in food shopping as well. i started doing it with my elder one when she was about 6 and it really helped, as she too was a fussy eater but has now improved significantly.

i guess all kids go through eating issues. so the best way to deal with it is to make your kid involved in the cooking and eating process. try inventing new dishes with him and making them together. you can ask him to make a meal plan with healthy ingredients of his choice. also, help him understand the importance of fruits, vegetables and other ingredients for his overall growth. if you are worried about weight, and the poop, speak to the doctor to ease your worries and make sure he is absolutely fine :)

Hello, I think it is just normal how kids throw tantrums in eating and all. But just because your MIL suggests some problem, you may have got a little worried. I think you can visit his paediatrician and seek advice and he may prescribe him some appetite increasing syrup or something. I do not think you should worry at all. Just use the mamma tricks to provide him best nutrition, like, knead dal or vegetable in the flour so that he doesn't even come to know that he is eating dal. Try new recipes.
