medisave claimable

Saw online that we can use claim medisave up to $900 dollars for those pre delivery medical expenses. Does anyone know how it works? Or the gynae will let us know which are the things that can be claim from medisave?

Bring your receipts along during admission, the staff will assist accordingly. After discharge, you will receive the bill with the Medisave-claimable amount already deducted from your total bill. As some others already mentioned, you may not need the receipts if you had your prenatal checks at the same hospital.

They will deduct from your final bill

Do keep all your receipts. Couple weeks before EDD. Your gynae would advice you on the necessary. Usually the hospital will help you submit the claims (cap up to $900) upon your admission for delivery.

It will be deducted from your final bill. If your pre delivery medical expenses are from the same hospital, they will automatically do it for you without you bringing your bills otherwise just bring your bills along and the hospital will do it for you... :)

Your gynae receipts can

Just bring your receipts to the counter at hospital. They will do it for you
